Start & Finish in Gouda

Start: Friday morning, September 18, 2026
Finish cut-off: Sunday evening, September 20, 2026

The Borderline700 Roubaix edition begins and ends in the historic city of Gouda, the home base of the race.

On Friday morning the riders roll out from Gouda for a fixed 700 km journey to the legendary stones of Roubaix at the French border and back again.

The finish line closes 60 hours later on Sunday evening. Cross it in time to collect your final stamp, a refreshing finisher’s beer, and a special souvenir to mark your achievement.

Didn’t make the cut-off? Your time will still be recorded and you are always encouraged to finish your ride—it just won’t count as an official finish for the classification.

The Route

From Gouda to Roubaix and back, the Borderline700 follows a fixed 700km route packed with challenge and adventure. Along the way, riders must collect stamps at three manned checkpoints to stay in classification.

The journey takes you across the windswept plains of Zeeland, through the iconic climbs of the Flemish Ardennes, and onto the legendary concrete of Roubaix before returning to Gouda.

Every kilometer tests body and mind. Whether you race for time or ride for the adventure, the experience never stops.

Follow the race

Every rider carries a GPS tracker, making the race come alive online. Friends, family, and fans can follow the "moving dots" on a live map as they push through day and night.

To bring the adventure even closer, our dedicated race reporter will provide live updates throughout the event. By tracking the dots and staying in touch with the riders, she’ll capture the stories, the struggles, and the triumphs directly from the road.

Alongside the map, a live leaderboard keeps track of times and positions. Whether you're chasing the leaders or cheering for the grinders, the live coverage makes the Borderline700 a shared experience for everyone watching from home.
